Ridgely Benjamin
Ridgely Benjamin is an account executive and financial manager at PR Solutions, a public relations consulting firm that serves national advocacy groups, associations, foundations and think tanks working on a range of social justice issues.
As an account executive at PR Solutions, Benjamin conducts on-line research, in-depth interviews, and media outreach for a variety of clients publicizing events, reports and spokespersons on a spectrum of social issues and trends. Benjamin was one of the founding editors of a highly topical newsletter that provides afterschool advocates with practical guidance on effective media advocacy strategies, as well as timely information and updates on current policies, funding opportunities and studies from across the nation. Benjamin has also worked with a coalition of national domestic violence organizations on a nationwide media outreach and community education project in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
She also oversees the firm’s operations, finance and accounting.
Prior to joining PR Solutions in 1994, she was a research assistant with Nancy Low & Associates, Inc. where she conducted and analyzed qualitative research and wrote literature reviews.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Duke University.
